I had never been to a hair salon before, so I was honestly pretty nervous about booking. From the moment I called, though, they made me feel completely comfortable. I explained what I was looking for and they were able to get me in the very next morning, which I really appreciated. The experience only got better from there. As soon as I walked in, I instantly felt welcomed and at ease. The owner took her time, communicated with me throughout the entire appointment, and made sure every detail of my cut was exactly how I wanted it. She absolutely exceeded my expectations. I left feeling confident, refreshed, and so happy I finally took the step to book. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this salon to anyone looking for amazing service and that perfect “feel good” moment when you leave the chair. 💇🏽‍♀️✨

I cannot say ENOUGH amazing things about this salon and the women that inhabit it! I had called at least five salons asking them to give me crochet braids(something I’d never had done before) and either got no response or cancelled the appointmentI made. TBQ called me back immediately and booked me within a couple hours, same day. I had no idea what I wanted, how to ask for it, and I walked out looking and feeling like a million bucks, but that was just the icing on the cake. Most salons are full of petty gossip, judgement, and an air of snobbery that is so off putting and degrading, but TBQ was a different atmosphere all together. I was ministered to, for lack of a better way to explain this. I walked in heavy, and left feeling beautiful and blessed emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. I’m 44 and never in my life have I had such an amazing experience at a hair salon. Thank you TBQ for the atmosphere you create, the kindness, attention to detail, and the art you did with my hair. Can’t wait to see you again!!!

I was looking for a braider to do my son’s hair for his birthday and I found this place. I called them Thursday and thank God Marquitta squished me in the next day morning. She’s the best, so patient and kind I love her work and my son’s love his hair! Would recommend this for kids and grown ups if you like your hair done neat and nice!

Marquitta's super professional. She gets back to you fast, and appointments are always on time – no waiting around. It's easy to get in, and the calming music makes you feel relaxed in her really clean salon. She checks out the style I want and tells me exactly what to buy to get that look. She takes her time explaining everything she's doing so I get it. She's also really understanding about my mobility issues and sensitive to my needs. My hair turned out just how I wanted it, and it's beautiful. I'm definitely going back and totally recommend Marquitta at TCB Creation. - Marilyn Hicks.

Marquita was extremely down to earth and attentive to my needs. I had not been to a hairstylist in about 8 years so I was nervous! I initially wanted a silk press however after letting her know about my active lifestyle we selected a different style. I chose coils to which she shampooed and steamed my hair SO good I fell asleep. I’ve never worn this style however I love the ease thus far. I can transition from the gym to my everyday activities and my hair isn’t a concern in regards to styling. I’ll definitely go back.
